Washington, D.C. – United States Representative Mike Rogers (R-AL), Lead Republican of the House Armed Services Committee, praised the approval of the Foreign Military Sale of M1A2 Abrams tanks to Poland.
“It is critical that the United States do all we can to reinforce NATO’s Eastern Front as Russia’s threats to further invade Ukraine grow more troubling by the day. Representatives Mike Turner, Lisa McClain, and I urged the Secretary of Defense to quickly approve this Foreign Military Sale last month – I’m glad to see that these tanks will finally be going to Poland to aide in the defense of NATO.”
