Thornberry on Secretary Esper

WASHINGTON- Rep. Mac Thornberry, ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee, made the following statement on Secretary Esper's tenure at the Department of Defense:

“Mark Esper has served the nation well under very challenging circumstances. He has helped lead the Department of Defense toward being more efficient and better prepared to deter peer adversaries. He has been an effective advocate for the men and women in uniform and their families. He deserves the gratitude of every American.”
